About Valentina
I graduated in biological science with a higher score (110 summa cum laude) and I received my Ph.D. in cellular and molecular biology at the University of Tor Vergata in Rome and I obtained the title of “Associate Fellow” of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) at the University of Surrey in the UK. I have given talks at many events at the University of Southampton in the UK where I was part of a team focused on teaching science to children and their parents in a fun and educative way. I gave lectures in laboratory practicals for undergraduate students at the University of Surrey, microbiology, genetic and molecular, and cell biology. I have also taught laboratory workshops for international students from Shanghai. For the last two years, I have tutored many online students (GCSE, A-level, High School and University degrees), helping them to prepare for their exams.
