About Aakriti (Pia)

Hi! I'm a student, an aspiring author, a curious person but also eager enough to get to the answers, and someone who genuinely enjoys figuring out how things work.

I'm 15, so I'm still a student myself, which means I understand the struggles of school from the inside. I know that sometimes the problem isn't that you're bad at a subject. Sometimes the explanation just isn't making sense, the textbook has chosen violence, or your brain has decided that today is simply not the day for fractions.

Outside of math and science, I'm currently writing a book, and I consistently score 100% on most of my comprehension and essay assignments. I love exploring ideas, understanding different perspectives, and finding ways to explain things clearly. Basically, I'm a little too curious for my own good, but I like to think it comes in handy.

As a tutor, I want to create a space where you can ask questions without feeling awkward, make mistakes without feeling embarrassed, and actually understand what you're learning instead of memorizing everything five minutes before a test and immediately forgetting it afterwards. We've all seen that strategy. We know how it ends.

I'm not here to act like I know everything. I'm here because I enjoy learning, sharing what I know, and helping other students realize they're capable of more than they think. Learning doesn't have to be boring, intimidating, or unnecessarily complicated.

And if we can make a difficult topic finally click while having a little fun along the way? I'd call that a pretty successful lesson.

my name? probably in my bio or just join the classes to know!!

Let's address the obvious first: yes, I'm 15. No, I haven't been teaching since the dinosaurs discovered algebra. But I do know what it's like to sit in class, stare at a question, and wonder what exactly the textbook is trying to achieve by making everything sound ten times more complicated than it needs to be.

My approach is simple: understand it, don't just memorize it. I can help break down math and science concepts into explanations that actually make sense, using examples, step-by-step guidance, and a little humor to make learning less painful. Questions are encouraged. Confusion is allowed. Pretending to understand something when you absolutely do not? We are NOT doing that here.

I'm also a book-writing enthusiast who consistently scores 100% on most of my comprehension and essay work, so English is another area I'm happy to help with. From understanding a text to organizing ideas and making essays sound less like they were written under extreme emotional distress, we can work on that too.

I'm not going to pretend to know everything. I'm here to help you understand more, feel more confident, and make progress at your own pace. Sometimes you need a teacher, sometimes you need someone to explain the same thing in a completely different way, and sometimes you just need someone to confirm that the question itself is unnecessarily confusing.

Either way, we'll figure it out. Academically, of course. Let's not get carried away.
