Hello, I'm Hazel Lee, I am studying medicine at Flinders University. I want to teach because I'm passionate about providing support and guidance to students. Education is a powerful tool that can unlock countless opportunities and shape one's future, and I believe that every student deserves a chance to thrive academically. My goal as a teacher is to help students improve their skills and knowledge, to instill confidence in their abilities, and to foster a love for learning. As a tutor, my approach is rooted in thorough preparation and providing a wealth of materials to support my students' learning. I believe in tailoring my teaching methodology to meet the specific needs and learning styles of each individual.
My typical lesson duration is approximately one hour, as I find that this allows for focused learning without overwhelming my students. During this time, I engage students in active learning, fostering a participatory environment where they can ask questions and seek clarification.
In terms of qualifications and experience, I have been tutoring in math and science for over three years. This experience has equipped me with a deep understanding of the subjects and various teaching strategies to make complex concepts more accessible to students.
My lessons are primarily designed for high school and middle school students.
