About Niamh
I am a student at university, studying for my undergraduate in Politics and International Relations. I have a passion for teaching as I can use my optimism and "unique perspective" to help tackle problems from a different view. As someone with ADHD, sometimes it feels like the cards are stacked against me, however this is also my strength, because it challenges me to find innovative ways to learn. Learning is one of my favourite parts of the human experience, and I love seeing the light of understanding in someone's eyes when a concept they struggle with makes sense to them.

My learning style is to be fun and engaging, using sometimes unorthodox methods to help the knowledge to stick. I learn mostly through mind maps, flashcards, quizzes and of course through application.
As a tutor, I set questions bi-weekly and a general knowledge quiz weekly. This keeps the essay writing skills sharp and sees fast improvement.
Sessions would be an hour long and aimed at sixth form students studying history or politics. I have a year of tutoring experience, and my pupils went from predicted 5's in their GCSEs to 8s and 9s
