About Cas

Hi! I'm Cas, a UST Civil Engineering student. I offer friendly, systematic tutoring using patterns and deduction to build your intuition. As an engineering student, I spend my time dealing with heavy math, physics, and even programming, so I know firsthand how overwhelming these subjects can feel. However, I've always had a passion for taking highly technical concepts—whether it's calculus, force vectors, or coding logic—and breaking them down into simple, everyday terms. I believe that anyone can master difficult subjects when they are explained clearly, without all the unnecessary jargon. When I'm not studying or working on technical projects, I genuinely enjoy teaching and helping others realize that they have the capability to solve any problem in front of them!

< Teaching Method & Techniques >

My approach is highly systematic and relies on simplifying the complex. I focus on translating difficult concepts into everyday terms so they actually make sense. Instead of forcing you to memorize endless steps, I teach you how to rely on deduction, recognize patterns, and spot hidden hints in a problem. The goal is to build your intuition so that solving becomes a subconscious habit rather than a stressful chore.

< A Typical Lesson Plan >

Every session is structured to guarantee you leave with a full understanding of the topic.

Foundation Building: We start by breaking down the basic concept and tackling it until you have completely mastered it.

Guided Application: We work through targeted practice worksheets together, applying the patterns and deductions we just discussed.

The Mastery Check: You will complete a final, comprehensive worksheet to ensure you have fully conquered the specified topic.

< What Sets Me Apart >

I focus heavily on how the mind approaches problem-solving. I train my students to stop overcomplicating things and instead look for the logical, straightforward path forward. Beyond the academics, I am a very friendly, patient, and approachable tutor. I am not strict, and I create a comfortable environment where making mistakes is just part of the learning process. I genuinely love teaching, and my goal is to make learning stress-free.

< Who the Lessons Are For >

Academic Level: Junior High, Senior High, and early college students.

Target Audience: Students who feel overwhelmed by their coursework, struggle with problem-solving anxiety, or simply think their subjects are "too complex."

Ideal Subjects: STEM topics including Mathematics, Physics, and introductory programming.
