About Carlee
Hello aspiring writers! My name is Carlee Macaluso and I’m a recent college graduate from UNC Charlotte. I majored in English and concentrated my studies in Creative Writing and Children’s Literature. I graduated with a 4.0 GPA and handmade a poetry/short story anthology which will be self-published soon after more editing. My essays have been turned into classroom examples with prospects of being published in literary magazines such as the Baum Bugle. I’ve studied under authors such as Mark West, Dina Massachi, Bryn Chancellor, Allison Hutchcraft, and Paula Martinac.

The tutor and student will evaluate the current level of the student’s knowledge on the subject and explain concepts relevant to the goal (creative or professional essay). Writing prompts will be provided upon every lesson to flex creative muscles and each prompt will be gone over with the tutor to figure out which elements to expand and focus on. Coursework for outside of lessons will be available if the student would like it.
