About Millie
I am a friendly, passionate and patient tutor. I have a PhD in health psychology and public health and experience tutoring psychology, English and science on a 1:1 basis with students from different walks of life and pursuing various levels of qualification. I want all of my students to succeed and have received very positive feedback from those I have supported so far. I am passionate about making a difference and remember how daunting it could be studying for exams, writing assignments and thinking about my future career. I hope I can offer support in making these sometimes stressful times seem a little more manageable

I have experience teaching and marking on psychology undergraduate and master's units. I have also privately tutored students who need further support with course content, assignment and dissertation writing and exam preparation for a range of psychology topics, statistics and research methods. I have published several academic papers and am additionally happy to share my expertise in writing for publication. My students have additionally included those at A-level, GCSE level (psychology) and master's level (health psychology), as well as those studying for English and Science at GCSE. I am able to provide support to those that would like to further their career in psychology by helping to develop and write CVs, create personal statements and search/apply for relevant courses/job posts. Each tutorial I deliver is tailored to the student's specific needs and goals, which we will talk through at the beginning of each session. We will always work at a pace most comfortable for the student. I hope to hear from you soon :-)
