About Luke
Being an A-Level or GCSE student can feel overwhelming at times, with important exams shaping your future and bringing a lot of pressure. I’ve been through my own challenges, including moving countries, teaching myself multiple subjects, and navigating the uncertainties of the pandemic—all of which made studying especially tough. My results weren’t what I hoped for, but rather than give up on my dream of becoming a clinical psychologist, I worked hard to keep moving forward. Now, as a third-year psychology student, I’ve gained not only knowledge but also a real understanding of the difficulties students face. I’m passionate about helping others by breaking down complicated topics into simple, manageable parts that make learning less stressful and more effective. My goal is to support students so they feel confident and prepared when exam day comes.

My Tutoring Approach and Teaching Style I believe effective learning comes from making complex psychological concepts easy to understand and relevant to each student’s experience. My teaching style is patient, supportive, and tailored to individual needs — whether a student is just starting GCSE Psychology or preparing for A-Level exams. I use a mix of techniques including clear explanations, real-life examples, and interactive discussions to help students engage with the material. I also focus on exam skills, such as structuring answers and applying theories effectively, to boost confidence and grades. Typical lessons last 60 minutes, giving us enough time to cover key topics, work through practice questions, and address any questions or challenges. My lessons are suitable for GCSE and A-Level students who want to deepen their knowledge, improve exam technique, and develop a genuine interest in psychology.
