About Evie
Hi, I'm Evie, a university student with a passion for English Language and Literature. I’ve been tutoring for over a year and have helped students in Years 7–11 improve their grades, confidence, and skills. I believe in making learning engaging and accessible for every student, tailoring my lessons to their unique needs. I’m committed to creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and working at their own pace. My goal is not just to help students improve academically but also to foster a genuine love for the subject. I love teaching because I get to help students realise their full potential and watch them grow in confidence. English can be challenging, but with the right guidance, I believe every student can succeed.

My tutoring style is student-focused, supportive, and flexible. I adapt each lesson to the student's needs, whether they want help with GCSE exam technique, essay writing, or understanding key texts. I aim to build confidence alongside skills, using questions, active discussion, and tailored resources to keep sessions engaging. Lessons are usually 60 minutes, but I can offer shorter or longer sessions if needed. I’m currently a university student and have over a year of experience tutoring English Language and Literature for students aged 11–16 (Years 7–11). I’ve helped students at different ability levels, including those working towards passes and those aiming for top grades. My lessons are ideal for Key Stage 3 and GCSE students who want personalised support, whether that’s ongoing help or short-term exam prep.
