About Hope
Fine Art is my second degree; I previously studied undergraduate Sociology and Social Policy at the University of Glasgow. I have a variety of tutoring experience - from teaching 7/ 14 year old primary school students in Maths and English, to assisting groups of young people in arts and craft workshops during group childcare sessions. I am very passionate about the power of Art to change both the person making, and the person experiencing it, and I think that good art education is key in helping young people to discover this.

Not only is everyones artistic practice wonerfully varied, but as is the goals they are aiming to meet through tutored art support, and as such, lesson plans will develop only after an initial meeting with the student where we will discuss both their art, and what they are hoping to acheive from sessions.
I am currently a BA Student at The Slade School of Fine Art in London, and have studied a Fine Art foundation at Camberwell UAL, as well a acheiving A* in both my GCSE and A-Level art courses. I can help with portfolio based applications for foundation and undergraduate fine art courses, and also am familiar with the mark-schemes and spec of current A-level and GCSE Art courses. My lessons are 1.5 hours in length, and will usually include independent work outside of the alloted time, which will be discussed in the following session.
