About Dr Sharmin
I am a Neuroscience graduate (PhD) with a 2-year postdoctoral fellowship completed from the Department of Neurology at the University of British Columbia (Canada top 3 university, QS World ranking 35). I have worked at world-renowned institutions including the Brain Research Centre at the University of British Columbia and the Kids Brain Health Network. During my fellowship, I also served as the Associate Editor of a 500+ page book published by the Oxford University Press (see reference list under "Details" section). I am the first-author of a peer-reviewed article on how brain cells develop . I have presented scientific posters and talks at numerous professional conferences in the U.S.A. and Canada, including: the largest international neuroscience conference "Society for Neuroscience Conference", the "Canadian Association for Neuroscience Conference", the "American Society for Bioethics and Humanities Conference", the "International Neuroethics Society Conference", and the "Kids Brain Health Network Conference".
