My name is Harry, and I am incredibly passionate about delivering engaging, high-quality education.
My professional experience includes:
- Four years of teaching experience across primary and special educational needs settings
- Designing English and Music curricula and units of work in school settings
- Working as a professional dance artist and delivering dance and movement courses and workshops for organisations across the UK
My qualifications and certifications include:
- Enhanced DBS check
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- PGCE Primary from Kingston University
- BA Dance Studies (Choreography) from Middlesex University, First Class Honours
- Level 3 Designated Safeguarding Lead training
- Level 1 Emergency First Aid at Work

Who are my lessons for?
My lessons are suitable for anyone working at Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 level in English, regardless of age. I welcome learners who would like support with developing their English skills, including reading, writing, sentence construction, word reading and understanding the fundamentals of the English language.
How long are the lessons?
Lessons typically last between one and two hours, depending on the needs and preferences of the learner.
My experience and approach to teaching
I have a genuine passion for teaching and learning, and I believe this enthusiasm comes through in my lessons.
My teaching practice has been developed through years of experience working across both the arts and education sectors, including supporting learners with a range of needs and abilities.
I believe that teaching, particularly on a one-to-one basis, should be tailored to the individual learner in order to maximise progress and create a positive learning experience. Following an initial baseline assessment, I will develop a personalised programme of learning based around your individual needs and goals.
My approach places a strong emphasis on building confidence, developing independence and making learning engaging and accessible. I aim to create lessons that respond to the learner, encouraging them to take an active role in their learning and develop the skills and confidence they need to make meaningful progress.
