About Molly
I am an enthusiastic piano tutor with 8 years of professional teaching experience, having successfully taught around 300 students. My learners include teenagers, college students, and adults pursuing academic goals, performance skills, or personal enrichment.
My philosophy is to build strong technical foundations while encouraging creativity and musical expression. I emphasise proper posture, hand coordination, finger strength, scales, rhythm, and sight-reading. I integrate music theory into lessons to help students understand chords, harmony, and structure in a practical way.
Lessons are balanced between technique, theory, and repertoire. Beginners focus on foundational exercises and simple pieces, while advanced students work on complex compositions and performance skills. Many students have achieved excellent results in examinations and performed confidently in recitals.
My mission is to inspire students to become confident, expressive, and independent pianists who enjoy their musical journey.

My approach to teaching piano combines strong communication, creative exploration, flexibility, and disciplined practice habits. Piano requires both technical precision and artistic expression, so I carefully balance these two areas. I guide students through scales, chords, arpeggios, rhythm exercises, and coordination drills to build technical strength. I explain each exercise clearly and demonstrate proper technique to prevent bad habits.
Communication helps create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes. Creativity keeps lessons engaging and meaningful. I encourage students to explore musical phrasing, dynamics, and emotional interpretation. Simple improvisation exercises help them develop confidence and musical thinking.
Flexibility allows me to adjust lesson pace and materials based on each student’s progress and learning style. I also guide students in developing consistent practice routines and time management skills. Along with piano skills, I teach theory basics, harmony studies, and ear development. My aim is to help students become well-rounded musicians who play with skill, confidence, and passion.
