Whether you're picking up an instrument for the very first time, preparing for conservatoire auditions, or you're already an experienced musician wanting to deepen your understanding of improvisation, I would be delighted to help you on your musical journey.
Teaching is one of my greatest passions. Nothing gives me more satisfaction than seeing a student gain confidence, unlock their creativity and achieve things they once thought were beyond their reach.

Jazz Improvisation for All Instruments
I teach jazz improvisation to musicians of every instrument, including saxophone, trumpet, trombone, piano, bass, flute, violin, clarinet, sousaphone and virtually any melodic instrument.
The concepts of melody, harmony, rhythm, phrasing and musical storytelling are universal. Once you understand them, you'll be able to improvise with confidence in jazz, blues, rock, funk, Latin music, fusion, pop and many other musical styles.
Rather than overwhelming students with endless scales and theory, I focus on helping you understand why music works. My aim is to make improvisation feel natural, expressive and enjoyable. Whether your dream is to solo over jazz standards, jam confidently with friends or simply become a more creative musician, I'll help you get there.
