About Laura
History and related subjects allow for many transferable skills in the modern world such as critical thinking, source analysis and written communication. Due to the depth of history many different areas are available to explore and in our first meeting we can discuss what you want to achieve from these lessons.
History has always been my passion, which is why I choose the subject that I did for degree and trained as teacher after several years within the legal sector.

Person centred teaching is my preferred method, so we work to your goals and outcomes. Some goals can be as simple as wanting to achieve a particular grade, but would also want to discuss building confidence, public speaking or improving writing style as individual goals as well.
