Starting from the Max / MSP software and the bach library, the course aims
(a) to provide an introduction to the characteristics and potential of computer assisted composition;
(b) analyze the formalizations and implementations of compositional processes;
c) analyze, formalize and implement some of the compositional processes suggested by the teacher.

In any research, including compositional and musical research, efficient time management favors the deepening of the field to be explored.
From this point of view, the computer is now used to formalize and automate some of the creative processes used in music composition and analysis, so as to allow a more rapid verification of the results obtained and a consequent refinement and deepening of the procedures adopted.

The course is aimed at all those who have an interest in musical writing and the use of new technologies applied to writing. The lessons, lasting one hour, are in the presence; as a teacher I am vaccinated, the environment is pleasant and I have all the medical devices necessary to work safely (masks, sanitizing gel and disposable gloves), however it is also possible to teach remotely.
