About Katleho
My name is Katleho Tsepe and I am 25 years old, from Lesotho I am really excited to be your teacher this year.
I studied for a BA Honors in Broadcasting and Journalism, so I love stories, asking questions, and helping people find their voice. I also have a 120-hour Advanced TEFL certificate, which means I am trained to make English fun and easy to learn with you.
For me, teaching is about more than grammar and textbooks. I want to help you become confident speaking, reading, and sharing your own ideas. I love seeing that “aha!” moment when something clicks. Every student has a story worth telling, and I want to help you tell yours in English.
A bit about me outside class:
I am a big car fan and love automotive journalism - I could talk engines and road trips all day. I also love reading and singing. If I’m not teaching, you’ll probably find me with a book or humming a tune.
I can’t wait to learn from you as much as I’ll be teaching you. We’re going to work hard, laugh a lot, and make this class feel like a team.

I teach using gradual release - which just means we learn together, step by step. First I’ll show you how it’s done, then we’ll practice together, and finally you’ll try it on your own. No pressure, no rushing. You’re never thrown into the deep end alone.
My goal is to make this class the place where you can relax, laugh, and learn without fear. There are no “silly” questions here. Mistakes aren’t embarrassing - they’re proof that your brain is growing. We’ll use stories, discussions, games, and real-life examples so English feels useful, not stressful.
Whether you love talking, love listening, or you’re a bit shy, there’s space for you here. I’m here to guide you, cheer you on, and help you find your voice in English.
