About Hadley
I grew up bilingually speaking Korean and English. My family have and also will be linguistically diverse, encouraging diversity and exploration to learning and mastering different languages.
I started learning Spanish for fun after school for several hours every day until I chose it for GCSEs, and then for A-levels.
I continue to study languages today, with Japanese being my University degree. Therefore I am thoughtful in how I approach teaching a language and am also aware of the common struggles and how to overcome them.
In my joint university degree, I also am studying how to teach a foreign language, and have therefore studied different teaching styles and accommodation for different types of students.

My speciality lies in linguistics and thus I like to focus on grammar and vocabulary and explain why the words are structured in such a way.
I have experience as private tutor and teaching assistant of foreign language in England and South Korea.
I like to encourage creative ways of remembering syntax, vocabulary, and pronunciation, among other elements of reading and speaking.
My aim is to make sure the students understand the logic of the language and how to reproduce similar patterns.
The lesson length would be 1 hour, including immediate feedback.
My lessons would be catered for GCSE learners or younger.
