About Reece
I've been a chess coach for over 10 years in an afterschool/summer camp program in Atlanta called Kidchess which teaches children chess while keeping it fun and entertaining.
I'm one of the highest rated chess players in the state of Georgia.
Recent Georgia Tech Graduate, B.S in Business Administration concentration in Finance.
I'm passionate about teaching chess. I love helping beginners and love seeing them improve at the game.
Experience:
Two time Georgia Highschool State Champion.
Official "Candidate Chess Master".
Won a $56,000 chess scholarship to Webster University.

I teach a mix of beginner and tournament rated students.
I do my lessons online through chess.com's classroom function.
My in-person lessons are conducted at the student's home. I charge for my transportation costs.
Lesson plans vary depending on students but I try and specifically help each individual student with their own needs.
Beginners are usually taught by playing. This allows to focus better and have a hands-on approach.
Tournament rated students are taught with many methods, mostly game analysis, puzzles, and some playing.
