About Kyona

I am a patient and supportive phonics and spelling tutor who helps children build strong foundations in reading and writing. My lessons focus on key phonics skills such as letter sounds, blending, segmenting, and spelling patterns. I use structured methods along with engaging activities to keep students motivated and confident.
Each lesson is tailored to the child’s learning pace and needs. I aim to create a positive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable and supported. My lessons are suitable for early learners and primary school students who need support with phonics, reading, and spelling.

My tutoring approach is structured, engaging, and tailored to each child’s individual learning needs. I use systematic phonics methods to help students understand the relationship between letters and sounds, building strong foundations in reading and spelling.

I also use interactive activities, games, and visual resources to keep children motivated and confident while learning.

Lessons typically last 30–60 minutes, depending on the child’s age, attention span, and learning needs.

I have experience supporting children with early reading and spelling development, improving phonics knowledge, spelling accuracy, and reading confidence. I am familiar with phonics-based learning approaches used in primary education.

My lessons are designed for early learners and primary school students, particularly those aged 4–11 who are developing their reading and spelling skills. They are suitable for beginners, children who need extra support with phonics.
