About Gabriel
I come from a rough background, having spent 5 years of my early adulthood in prison. However, my incarceration had a silver lining - reigniting my long lost passion for learning. And despite being a below average N Level student at the end of my secondary school days, I excelled in my O and A Levels while serving time, and within a short and challenging timeframe.
The next natural step for me then was NUS, and there too I continued to overcome countless obstacles and graduated with a CAP of 4.30.
I had been coaching and teaching since I was in prison, and also helped tutor secondary school students in both English and Mathematics while I was taking my degree.

Language is one of the toughest subjects to teach because it is more nuanced and fluid, unlike the strict logic of mathematics, for example.
What I provide is a holistic programme catered to each individual based on their current proficiency in English, to not only help them ace exams but also to create a solid foundation for exploring the language. I also aim to light the spark of interest in learning within my students.
I offer lessons at both the primary and secondary levels.
