About Iona
I've been a language tutor for 3 years, and want to use my tutoring skills to teach about something I am very passionate about. I've helped many friends and family members to learn more about vegan and vegetarian diets and have taught them recipes that they enjoy. I have a friendly, calm, and patient nature, which makes me a good teacher. I've lived and travelled to many places around the world, and I like to incorporate this in my cooking, so you will find French, British, Spanish, Costa Rican, Indian, and Swedish influences in how I cook and teach.

I've been vegan and vegetarian for 8 years myself, and want to help anyone interested to get better at cooking vegan or vegetarian meals. I will adapt my classes to each individual's wants and needs, offering help with creating healthy meal plans, adapting favourite recipes to make them plant-based, and navigating the world of plant-based cooking. Lessons will typically consist of a guided cooking class, where we will prepare a meal together, and I will tell you about cooking techniques and nutrition facts. Classes can also include creating meal plans, adapting your favourite recipes to be plant-based, and discussing tips on how to transition to a vegan or vegetarian diet.
