About Aleksa
I am a trumpet and piano teacher, a graduate of Newtown High School of the Performing Arts, and am currently studying Fine Arts (Music) and Commerce at UNSW. I am a professional performer with teaching experience. I have been playing trumpet and piano for 11 years now and teach beginner to intermediate students. I play classical, jazz, Eastern European folk, and contemporary music. My lessons can be either online or face to face and span from 30 minutes to one hour.

My lessons cater to the level and interests of my students, working to improve their ability while sparking an interest in their instrument. I do this by working with method books, on grade exams, getting my students to choose their own pieces and styles they are interested in playing and also inspiring students by introducing them to new genres and styles. I work with my students to prepare for a range of exams and auditions, for leisure, or to learn the instrument itself! Lessons span from 30 minutes (for $35) to one hour (for $65). First free lesson not included.
