About Lakshya
I'm a B.Tech engineer with a B.Ed degree and CTET certification, and I've spent 7 years teaching math to students in classes 5 to 10. I currently work as an Assistant Accounts Officer, but teaching has stayed a constant alongside my career — it's the part of my week I look forward to most.
I got into teaching because I remember struggling with math myself as a student, and how much difference one patient explanation made when everything finally clicked. That feeling of "I get it now" is what I try to create for every student I teach — I don't just want them to pass exams, I want them to actually enjoy the subject and feel confident tackling it on their own.
Outside of teaching, my engineering background keeps me sharp on problem-solving and my accounts work keeps me constantly using math in practical, real-world ways — both of which I bring into how I explain concepts to students. I focus on building strong mathematical fundamentals rather than rote memorization. I break down concepts step-by-step using real-life examples and practice problems, so students understand the "why" behind each topic, not just the formula to memorize.
Each session is tailored to the student's level and pace — whether that means catching up on basics, building exam confidence, or working ahead. I regularly assess progress through practice questions and share feedback with parents so everyone stays on the same page.
I share notes and practice worksheets after every class for revision. I've taught students following CBSE, ICSE, and international curricula, keeping classes interactive so no one leaves confused about a topic.
