About Taryn
I am a life coach as well as a TELF and IELTS teacher. I coach clients through a 13-session life coaching programme. I have done training with staff on switchboard, administration, job processes, this was part of my job when I worked in corporate. I got 83% for my TEFL and a upper grade A pass in my IELTS qualifications. I don't have teaching experience, but I know that I will be an asset to anyone and will help you achieve and grow within the English Language. I promise to making learning fun and interactive. I offer a supportive, understanding and patient environment for you to learn in.

I am enthusiastic, patient, understanding and kind. I make all my lessons fun and as interactive as possible. I use total physical response in my classes and enjoy open discussions regarding the teaching material. I enjoy listening to my students' thoughts and opinions on different matters and like to fully engage and get to know my students. My classes are geared for students who are wanting to learn and participate. I enjoy teaching all ages. The teaching methodology that I prefer using is (Presentation Practice Production). I enjoy this methodology as I like to introduce new material to my students and give them examples as well as afford them the opportunity to ask any questions. I feel that by doing this it puts the students at ease and gives them the opportunity to see what the lesson is about and what the expectations are. I then make the practice side enjoyable and interactive so that students can fully grasp the new material. The production side is done in a similar fashion and allows the students to gauge their understanding and progress at the end. I like to end my classes with a recap of what has been taught as well as answer any further questions the students may have. This ensures that the students leave the class feeling confident and comfortable with their new knowledge. My philosophy is every question is a good question.
