About Thato
My name is Thato and I live in Johannesburg, South Africa. I hold a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and a TEFL certificate. I have been teaching English online for two years.
I enjoy working out, trying new food and reading. I love meeting new people and opening up myself to new experiences.
I would describe myself as someone who is adventurous, outspoken and empathetic. I am passionate about language teaching as it allows me to share knowledge with different people from different backgrounds and cultures. And not only do I get to teach, but I also get an opportunity to learn from my students.

My teaching style is super casual. I allow my students enough room to express themselves confidently. I encourage them to think independently and offer a safe space where they can freely make mistakes that they can learn from.
My lessons will be focused on conversation practice, using the free-talking method and having casual conversations on various day-to-day topics with aims to expand vocabulary, improve grammar and pronunciation. I provide lessons that are tailored to suit your needs to help achieve your goals.
