Hi everyone. I am a TEFL / TESOL qualified teacher. I was born and stayed in the UK for 27 years before moving to Florence, Italy. I have exceptional interpersonal skills developed through many years of working with people. Growing up, with my mother English teacher, I developed a strong passion for teaching English.

What sets me apart as an English teacher is the fact that I am a native English speaker and the son of an English teacher! I moved to Italy to follow my heart and I am aware, from personal experience, of the processes and difficulties encountered in learning another language.
For a typical lesson, we will start with a short icebreaker to get you thinking in English, then move on to the topic of study for the lesson depending on your level and needs, and then to put that study topic into practice to make sure that you understood it correctly and independently. We will then conclude the lesson with a task to be completed for the next lesson based on the subject studied in the lesson.
My lessons are for people of all ages and abilities. I am currently teaching young students who are still in high school, and some retired adults, with levels from absolute beginner to upper intermediate. Finally, I organise conversation lessons and take care of the thesis correction for university students with a particularly high level of English.

Perfect! David è un insegnante molto preparato e aggiornato sulle migliori tecniche di apprendimento di una lingua straniera. David è veramente un ottimo insegnante di inglese! È molto competente (essendo madrelingua di Londra) ed incredibilmente paziente. Le sue lezioni sono calibrate sulle esigenze dello studente, ma sempre molto divertenti e coinvolgenti. Di solito propone un tema su sui basare la lezione (quindi anche la grammatica e gli esercizi di scrittura o lettura non risultano troppo noioso!). Lo raccomando veramente!
Ottimo metodo, simpatico e pronto ad aiutarti. David è disponibile per qualunque cosa e sempre col sorriso, mette a proprio agio gli studenti e le lezioni sono molto interessanti, ogni volta un argomento diverso. Super consigliato!
