About Alicia
I have completed a Bachelor of Music at the University of Melbourne and excelled in music theory subjects, particularly in aural studies, music language classes and music history. I also have experience in arranging and having to compose music. I am new to teaching but am looking forward to studying a Masters of Teaching in 2021.

I have an excellent grasp on music theory and can offer expertise, tips and suggestions in a broad range of music theory areas. I am happy to help teach students how to read music, to tutor them in music theory and aural exams (i.e. in preparation for exams and VCE), and even to provide guidance on how to write and compose songs. Everyone learns in different ways, and I will adapt my teaching to your needs and the level that you are at. I strongly believe that sometimes all it takes is a fresh pair of eyes and a different perspective to help students grasp those music concepts that they were previously struggling with.
