About Jaini
Hello! I am Jaini Shah, a theater artist, actor, writer, director, and mentor from India. I have been working in theater since 2018 and have performed in more than 35 productions while also writing and directing original plays. My work has been recognized at theater festivals and competitions, and I have had the opportunity to train under various acting coaches.
Over the years, I have worked with students, schools, colleges, and professionals, helping them develop confidence, creativity, communication skills, and a deeper understanding of performance. I believe theater is not only about acting on stage but also about understanding human behavior, storytelling, collaboration, and self-expression.
My teaching approach combines practical exercises, improvisation, movement, voice work, character development, creative writing, and ensemble-building activities. Drawing inspiration from theater practitioners such as Michael Chekhov, I encourage students to explore the connection between body, imagination, and emotion in a safe and supportive environment.
Whether you are a complete beginner, an aspiring actor, a writer looking to strengthen storytelling skills, or someone interested in personal growth through theater, I aim to create lessons that are engaging, challenging, and tailored to your individual goals.

My theatre lessons are designed for students of all levels who want to explore acting, creativity, and self-expression. Through a combination of acting exercises, improvisation, storytelling, voice work, movement, character development, and scene study, students learn the foundations of theatre in a fun and supportive environment. Inspired by practitioners such as Michael Chekhov, the lessons encourage students to explore the connection between body, mind, imagination, and emotion, helping them create truthful and engaging performances.
Along with performance skills, students also develop confidence, communication, collaboration, and creative thinking. Lessons may include theatre games, creative writing activities, script analysis, ensemble-building exercises, and performance projects tailored to each student's interests and goals. Whether a student wants to pursue theatre professionally or develop creativity and confidence, the classes provide a space to learn, experiment, and grow as an artist.
