About Andy
I am a passionate, engaged and easy-going Theatre professional and teacher.
I have worked as a director and script-reader/dramaturg at theatres such as The National Theatre, The Royal Court Theatre, The National Theatre of Scotland, the Traverse Theatre and more.
As an educator I have worked at Guildhall, The National Film & Television School & Qibao Dwight School, Shanghai.
I trained at some of the most prestigious institutions in the UK and got my PGCE from Sheffield University. I am fully trained as an IB teacher for Film & Theatre.

I have spent 10 years working as a Freelance Theatre Director, Dramaturg, Tutor, Teacher and theatre-maker.
My approach to teaching is student led and founded on the IB principle of Inquiry, Action & Reflection. Learning by doing is the way forward in my book!
Whether you are studying the IB (or equivalent like A-Level) or preparing to audition for drama school or just want to brush up on some acting skills and techniques, I can tailor my teaching to you.
I offer lessons between 30 minutes and two hours (depending on the aim) target and can take on students aged between 16 - 25.
