About Yousuf
Hi, I’m Yousuf! I’m an Electrical and Electronic Engineering student at University College London (UCL) with a deep passion for how mathematics and physics shape our world. At A-Level, I earned triple A*s in Maths, Further Maths, and Physics at Michaela Community School, alongside a Gold UKMT Award, Senior Kangaroo qualification, and Silver in the British Physics Olympiad. Outside university, my experience interning at a private bank in Zurich and over a decade with Scouts UK have helped me build a warm, grounded, and adaptable approach when mentoring younger learners.

I think that we should first find what the strengths of a student are and then we should improve and develop these skills. We must also identify any weaknesses and slowly build a solid foundation to ensure that we can really understand everything in its entirety.
I strongly believe that mastering STEM subjects is never about raw intelligence or memorising formulas, but it is rather about building intuition and staying calm when facing an unfamiliar problem. When a question looks intimidating, I advise students to break it down into manageable, logical pieces. Rather than just spoon-feeding answers , I focus on helping learners understand why a mathematical concept works. My goal is to build deep conceptual clarity, so students gain genuine self-belief and independence in their learning.
