About Lisa
I am a third-year financial sciences student at the University of Pretoria. I am also currently appointed as a first year accounting tutor at the University of Pretoria.
I have a passion for finance and spent 3+ years tutoring fellow students while in high school. I have also served as a class representative in university where I assisted my fellow students in their studies.
I have maintained a distinction for accounting from Gr 8 to my first year in university and hope to continue to do so. I also competed in the SAIPA national accounting Olympiad and won the "best speaker" award in my Grade 11 accounting debate.

I believe in teaching with purpose rather than for just passing. I go through topics methodically and thoughtfully with students in order to ensure that they not only understand the concepts and methods but the reasoning and purpose behind them in a manner that best suits their own learning style and ability.
I aim to teach methods which students can use to become more confident in their abilities in order for them to see accounting not as a daunting task but rather as a fun and stimulating intellectual challenge.
