About Gayane
I have just finished my A levels (4A*s in Maths, Further Maths, Biology and Chemistry) and am very excited to start my undergraduate maths degree at the University of Oxford. I have been mentoring GCSE maths students at my school for the last two years, and they all have achieved excellent results. I have taken part in numerous maths competitions, continuously achieving gold in the Senior and Intermediate Maths Challenges, distinctions in the Mathematical Olympiad for Girls and in the BMO1. I did two admissions tests (TMUA, MAT) and three interviews for my university choices and was lucky enough to receive offers from all of the universities I applied to. I look forward to helping other GCSE and A level maths students to achieve their full potential and to share my enthusiasm for maths with them.

We will work on problems together to try to find the solution. From my experience, I realised that I am more likely to remember something and do it again if I have figured the solution out myself rather than being simply told what to do by a teacher, hence this is the approach I take when tutoring. This collaborative approach to learning will not only improve your understanding but also improve your confidence when tackling future problems. I achieved 9s in all of my GCSES and four A*s at A level (Biology, Chemistry, Maths, Further Maths), so I know what it takes to succeed in exams. I have two years of experience with tutoring GCSE maths students
