About Disha
As a medical student, I have a strong desire to help people and would love to encourage students to understand biology so that they may love it as much as I do!
I have had excellent teachers in the past and hope to emulate their teachings to the best of my ability. Through my previous experience as an editor for my school magazine, I can offer help for English Literature and Grammar as well. Having tutored middle and high school students before, I believe my lessons can prove useful for that age group.
Being a student myself, I can understand how daunting applying for and going to uni can seem, so I'm also happy to have a chat about Uni life, Medical School or answer any queries in general!

My teaching philosophy revolves around understanding the basics and consistent revision. I believe everyone is a different type of learner and try my best to adapt my teaching strategy to each student. One lesson would typically last an hour, so that the focus can be on grasping concepts rather than rushing through topics. Additionally, I hope to make lessons fun and interactive by the use of interesting mnemonics and diagrams!
