About Rebecca
I am a third year medical student currently intercalating in Psychology at The University of Edinburgh. I achieved distinctions both years at medical school, got top decile BMAT and UCAT and achieved A*A*A at A-level.
I have always enjoyed teaching -I grew up with four younger brothers and sisters and I was the annoying older sister who liked to try and ‘teach’ them. My younger sister played viola, and I was always try to give her music lessons where I would make her go over her scales until they would good enough! As a medical student, I am driven to help others, which extends to helping children solve a maths problem and spent the past two summers babysitting and tutoring.
I clearly remember the feeling I got when I had been struggling with a problem, and when a teacher explained it in a way that made me finally understand the question in front of me. The idea of passing on that feeling is inspiring to me.

I offer help for 10-18 year olds for science, maths and medicine entry. Session length is flexible, but typically one hour sessions.
I can help with past paper questions, exam technique and providing clear, concise explanations. Past experience with UCAT and BMAT preparation, medicine entry mock interviews, 11+ and GCSE tutoring.
