About Brock
Hello! I'm Brock, a dedicated third-year Secondary Education student at the University of Queensland (UQ). With a rich background in Electrical Engineering and a current focus on Advanced Japanese and Digital Humanities, I bring a uniquely interdisciplinary approach to tutoring.
My interests in philosophy and humanities have always been a strength; in high school, I achieved an OP3 (equivalent to an ATAR of 97). As a preservice teacher, I have gained valuable classroom experience, ensuring my tutoring is grounded in practical educational strategies.
Teaching, to me, is more than a profession—it's a lifelong passion. I'm committed to supporting students' academic journeys while continuing to develop my own vocational skills.

As a tutor, my philosophy centers on the belief that education should be personalized, interactive, and engaging. My methodology is student-centered, and I aim to foster an environment that encourages intellectual curiosity, personal growth, and self-confidence.
I specialize in secondary school students. I teach the huminites, mathematics, and Japanese language. I believe that lessons should be determined on a student by student basis.
