About Robin
Originally from rural Australia, I have worked and traveled throughout Europe. I have taught ESL for 3+ years now and have found myself enamored with teaching!
I have returned to my home country to study (computer science) but I still love to teach!
There's nothing more unfortunate that getting a bad teacher.
Perhaps you would have loved mathematics or biology and won a Nobel prize, if only your teacher wasn't counting the seconds!
I believe that learning is the best thing anyone can do for themselves, and I want to be apart of that process for as many people as possible. Not only for the joy of teaching but to better understand how to teach, that I may better understand how to pass on my knowledge in all areas of study.
One more thing, I dislike a dry and boring lesson as much as you do. I believe that 'play' is sorely lacking from most education curriculums and there will always be at least some fun to be had in a lesson that I teach.

I have taught learners of many different backgrounds, from Eastern Europe to East Asia, small classes to private tutoring.
I know how hard it can be to learn a new language, I've done so twice!
I make sure to keep track of my student's progress and to create lessons that challenge them and help them grow their skill into something that they can be proud of and impress co-workers, friends and peers.
I am not only well-versed in Teaching English as a foreign language, but as a means of expression as well.
If you should desire it, I can teach you the secrets of the English language. Not only how to speak it but how to express yourself with it, to give you the knowledge you need to make your English speaking not only fluent but powerful and impactful.
