About William
After graduating from UCL and Oxford, I have been working as a legal contractor in a range of large City law firms in various jobs from paralegal to document reviewer and litigation assistant. I will shortly be commencing the SQE exams with a view to qualifying as a lawyer at my current law firm Herbert Smith Freehills. Previous firms include Slaughter and May, and Cohen & Gresser. I also have strong legal pro bono experience, as well as a wider commitment to charity work.
I have over three years of tutoring experience both as a self-employed private tutor and as part of a charitable initiative to tutor in deprived areas of London.
Outside of my professional life I enjoy playing and watching sports, particularly rugby, cricket, tennis and squash. I also regularly see my friends in East London.

I specialise in teaching LLB and LLM law students. I will create a personalised study plan after discussing your goals. Typically, I teach in regular hourly lessons, although this can be negotiated and adjusted depending on your needs. During lessons, I will guide you through a specific area of law using all relevant case law, textbooks and academic scholarship, with focus on your weaker areas. I will also share my zoom screen to provide helpful charts and maps of the law. Further, I provide law notes for all LLB subjects and can be pitched according to the level of the student. I also have a bank of past exam papers and study materials. Finally, I will of course be available during exam season for preparation and assistance with revision questions.
