About Joe
I've been obsessed with music for as long as i can remember, taking every opportunity at school to sing in bands, choirs and musicals. After finishing school I started working at a local primary school, where I discovered my joy for teaching.
Throughout my later years at school and during my time as a teaching assistant, I would busk with my best friend on the weekends, singing covers of popular songs and originals we had written together.
For the last 5 years i have toured with my rock band 'The Issues', playing gigs and festivals all over the UK and beyond! I believe that music should before all else be about fun, which is what i centre my lessons around. I won't be teaching you classical pieces you've got no interest in (unless of course thats what you'd like to be learning!), instead I'll be taking an interest in the musicians and bands you love, and finding a way to help you learn their songs.

I provide students with a calm, entertaining and exciting environment to explore their singing voice in whatever way they would like. My lessons are typically 30 minutes long, and usually centre around 1 song per session that my student would like to learn. My lessons are primarily aimed at children from the ages of 6-18, however I have taught adults in the past.
I previously worked as a teaching assistant at a primary school, teaching children between the ages of 4-13 in all subjects. During this time I started busking in my local town centre, which has led me to a career in live music.
