About Stephen
Hi, I’m Stephen McCool—a classically trained baritone and dedicated voice teacher with over 15 years of experience helping singers find their unique sound.
I trained in classical voice at Georgia State University under the legendary W. Dwight Coleman, and continued refining my technique with acclaimed professionals Sharon Stephenson and Jason Hardy. I also continue singing with the Cathedral Schola at the renowned Cathedral of St. Philip in Atlanta, where I deepened my artistry, sight-singing, and musicianship under Dr. Dale Adelmann.
But enough about me—this is about you and your vocal journey.

Welcome to Stephen McCool’s In-Home Voice Lessons—where classical vocal technique meets a fun, personalized approach to developing your best voice.
Whether you’re a light hobbyist, a passionate singer, or preparing for a future in performance, my vocal programs help students explore their voices at their own pace while building a strong technical and artistic foundation. Lessons include work on:
• Breath support & healthy vocal production
• Classical and musical theatre repertoire
• Vocal technique and tone development
• Sight-singing & ear training
• Language diction (Italian, French, German, English)
• Musical interpretation and stage presence
Every lesson is tailored to your goals and your voice. I offer both in-home and online voice lessons, providing flexibility and comfort without sacrificing quality.
For younger students and families: I also help parents encourage consistent practice and responsibility, offering tools that make home practice more effective—and even fun!
