My name is Dr. Saima Naz, and I bring over a decade of experience in education, combined with a deep passion for helping students unlock their potential. I hold a PhD in Education and specialize in creating engaging, supportive, and outcome-focused lessons tailored to each learner's individual needs. Who I Teach: My students range from: Young learners (Early Years & Primary) – using play-based, phonics, and literacy strategies Secondary students – with a focus on English, Social Studies, and Study Skills Adult learners and professionals – especially teachers who need training. Learners with special educational needs, whom I support with inclusive and adapted teaching methods I take great pride in maintaining a high standard of professionalism, punctuality, and preparation in all my classes. Techniques and Teaching Methodology I adopt a student-centered and inquiry-based approach, tailoring each session to the learner’s individual needs, pace, and goals. My methodology includes: Interactive learning using real-life examples, visuals, and practical tasks Scaffolded instruction to build skills gradually and confidently Active recall and spaced repetition techniques to strengthen memory and understanding Use of digital tools such as interactive whiteboards, Google Docs, and online quizzes for real-time collaboration Continuous assessment through informal questioning, mini-quizzes, and feedback I encourage questions, curiosity, and critical thinking rather than rote memorization. Typical Lesson Length My lessons usually run for 45 to 60 minutes, depending on the learner’s age and focus level. For younger children, I may divide the session into 2–3 short activities to maintain engagement. My Qualifications and Experience I hold a PhD in Education and have over 10 years of experience in the education sector.
