About Elodie
With more than 7 years of experience and a Graduate Diploma in Violin Pedagogy, I provide lessons that blend technique and theory. I emphasize integrating music theory, aural skills, and sight reading into violin practice. My lessons are particularly suited for students preparing for music theory exams and those seeking advanced harmony comprehension. Scales, intervals, and harmony are taught through practical bowing and fingering exercises. I work with exam candidates and students aiming to improve overall musical fluency. Lessons are personalized to each student’s goals and learning pace. I also incorporate sight reading exercises to boost accuracy and confidence. Ear training and aural skills are reinforced in every session. Students learn phrasing, dynamics, and expressive playing techniques. I focus on linking theoretical understanding to practical performance. Lessons encourage musical independence and analytical thinking.
