I'm an Engineer and Trombone enthusiast with 15 years of experience with trombone, and many years of trying and learning other instruments and helping others to learn and improve at their playing. I am well versed in classical teaching methods, but I also have studied many other teaching methods and try to use whichever fit the situation and the individual best.

I start out seeing where you are at with your chosen skill and let you show me what you can already do, and then from there I provide suggestions on how to improve what you are already doing right, and how to let go of habits and methods of playing that are getting in your way, and then from there I create lesson plans tailored to your situation, your strengths and weaknesses, and am always seeking for better methods and ways to explain concepts and skills in order to help you improve as consistently and efficiently as you can!
