About Jhedia

I have always been a student who got grades starting from when I was in elementary school. I show that I care a lot about doing in school and I never stop learning. Now I am in high school and I want to help other students understand what they are studying. I want to help them do better in school and feel more sure of themselves.

I think that every student has the ability to learn and do well if they get the help enough time and some good encouragement. My aim is to make learning something that's not hard and is fun. I will explain things in a way that's easy to understand. I will give help that's just right for each person. I will go at the pace that works for them.

If you need help with homework or school work or if you want to go over what you have learned or get ready, for a test I will be there to help. We can work together to make sure you understand things better and get study habits. We can work together to help you do well in school!

As an honors student in high school who works hard to do well in school my goal is to help students understand what they are learning improve how they do in school and feel more sure of themselves.

Methods and Techniques of Instruction

I explain things in simple, easy to understand words using a way that focuses on the student. To make sure students really understand of just remembering I change how I teach based on how each student learns best give examples from real life walk them through problems and let them ask questions.

Typical Lesson Plan

Each class starts with a look back at what was learned before and checking what the student needs to work on. I then explain the topic in steps show example problems and give them practice to do. We finish with a review some practice questions and feedback to see where they can get better.

What Sets Me Apart

As someone who has done well in school and has honors I know how important it is to have study habits to stay focused and to keep working hard. I try to make a place where students feel safe to ask questions and learn from their mistakes. My goal is not just to help students get grades but also to help them feel more confident and learn on their own.

My tutoring is perfect for junior high school students who need help with their subjects, homework, assignments, quizzes and studying for exams. I am ready to give patient one-, on-one help that's just right for each students needs and what they want to achieve.
