About Kristy
As a person and a teacher, I am friendly, welcoming, calm, and accommodating. One of my strengths is viewing people as individuals, and not putting them in boxes. I love to teach and train creatively, but I know how to put my personal style in the background when needed.
Helping people learn and grow has become one of my favorite things in life, and I look forward to helping you reach your goals.

Person-focused teaching style. I will listen to what you want to learn or accomplish, and contribute my observations about how you can improve. I'm an active listener, and care about hearing and understanding you, and making sure our lessons are working for you as an individual.
Lesson times can be tailored to age, concentration levels, and time budget, but usually between 25-60mins.
While currently gaining TEFL qualification, I have no formal experience tutoring or teaching English as yet. However, I have many years experience successfully conveying complex concepts in a simple way that connects to a person's personal knowledge base.
Most recently, I have gained experience in the challenges and strengths that come along with neurodiversity, and various complex mental health diagnoses. If something like that is part of your daily reality, I would hope to be someone who you can trust to help you build your desired skills and confidence.
Regardless of age, if you want to learn, I am happy to teach you.
