About Leo
Hi! My name is Leo, and I am an English and Spanish student at the University of Oxford.
I offer Spanish as a second language classes, as someone who achieved a grade 9 at GCSE, an A* at A Level (Incl full marks in my oral exam, and 76/80 in the AQA writing paper). I also have in-depth cultural knowledge through family and friend connections. I am also continuing to pursue Hispanic studies at university, where I have recently learned Catalan.
I also specialise in humanities and essay writing, and offer support not only in subject content, but in writing techniques and essay structures (Especially for the British exam system). I grew up living by the sea, and in my spare time I enjoy running, reading, spending time with my dog, Pickle, and helping the local community through volunteering. I am also a trained singer, with LCM Grade 8 in Musical theatre.

Subjects offered: English literature, English language, History, Spanish, and Spanish (As a 2nd lang)
Students will receive support and resources, alongside round-the-clock help with assignments and revision - from someone who has just been through the British exam system (GCSEs sat in 2022, and A Levels sat in 2024).
I achieved 4 grade 9s, 2 grade 8s, and 3 grade 5s in my GCSEs. I achieved 3 A*s in my A Levels, and am about to begin study at the University of Oxford.
My classes are primarily aimed at 14-18 year olds, studying for GCSE and A Levels. After muddling through at an underfunded state school, I am passionate about providing others with the knowledge and opportunities that I missed out on during my own time in the education system. I look forward to working with you!
