About Jael
KONNICHIWA! My name is Jael, I have a Master's degree in Japanese Studies and I've specialized in Modern Japanese Art at Kyoto University of Art. I completed my Japanese language studies at Kyoto Institute of Language and Culture, in Japan, also certified with JLPT N3. I have more than 10 years of experience as a Japanese language teacher in language schools, as well as teaching private classes for over 100+ students in Europe and Latin America.

My teaching method is "Minna no Nihongo" focused, a series of textbooks I consider to be the most organized and complete, and the method I studied during my life in Japan. You can count on me for information about scholarships to study in Japan and also for traditional and modern Japanese culture, society or history. I've prepared and selected some special experiences of Japanese culture for my students, such as Shodo calligraphy lesson, Sumi-e painting lessons, or Kimono, Tea ceremony, Manga aesthetics, among other special lessons depending on your interest and needs.
