Andrew has been a great tutor for me as he explains everything in a totally different way to my A level teachers. Good to have a different perspective on the subject and he makes the lessons more enjoyable by making me feel comfortable enough to ask him when I’m not confident with my answers and can extract the information from me by asking me in a friendly, encouraging way when I don’t even realise I have the knowledge. He’s definitely helped me increase my grades in PE much more than the teachers could have done.

Andrew provided excellent help across a number of areas, he was able to shed light with his interpretation of the vague assignment briefs and was able to give good insight into the marking scheme. He provided sound advice on the structure and content of assignments. He provided excellent reviewing, feedback and advice on improvements that could be made for the assignments and provided advice on additional research that could be done to enhance the work to distinguish it from others. In addition Andrew was as flexible as he could be for session times, flexible about session objectives, flexible for accommodating extra sessions and is a general all round descent person.

Andrew has been tutoring my son with his A Level PE studies for the past year, and it has been an extremely positive experience. He explains concepts and topics well, giving relatable examples and using exam practice questions. He is extremely organised and provides excellent resources, being able to immediately call up any one of these if my son asks a question on the topic.

My son lost a lot of confidence as a result of a poor teacher and a college which has let him down, so finding Andrew has been a lifesaver. He feels his understanding of the subject has definitely increased, he likes working with Andrew and we've seen his confidence grow enormously as a result.

Andrew tutored my son, with year two of his A Level PE.

Prior to Andrew tutoring him, his grades and predicted grades weren’t good and he lacked confidence in his ability to tackle this subject.

During the course of Andrew tutoring him, my sons grades / expected grades slowly started to pick up, to the point, that he is now predicted to get a good grade.

His confidence in the subject has risen noticeably since Andrew has been tutoring him, which was a major factor of in holding him back.

Andrew is incredibly friendly and flexible with his tutoring, which really helps when you have a teenager who plays a lot of sport outside of school.
