About Ethan
• I realised my passion for tutoring when being invited by my old school to help support students after leaving. • Helping people is something I am naturally inclined towards doing. Upon starting university, I would regularly offer to help proofread and edit people's work. Stumbling into professional work, because as people heard about the quality of my work from those I helped, strangers started to offer me money to work with them. • You will find me a very friendly and flexible presence. I have had good academics and I understand what is being looked for, so I can get at the core things quickly and concisely. • Can edit/proofread up to a dissertation level. • My general knowledge is very good. I ran my University's Debating Society (over 500 members), read widely, and have started a local book club. • Outside of this, you will often find my interests being music (Rock, Funk, and Pop) and films; often travelling to watch classic films as they are screened in cinemas!
Please note I do not offer my first lesson free, as I have over 5 years of tutoring experience.

• In the humanities, you are taught the course content, but not the essay writing and analytical skills upon which the assessments are almost entirely based! • Strengths include: History, English, Classics, Politics, and Philosophy. • I can work in a variety of ways, from delivering content in a clear to understand way, to communicating how that information is relevant and can be used in an essay. • I love my subjects and I love teaching. I am enthusiastic and pleased to help others, and develop the skills in people so they do not need any ongoing support. • Previously I have worked with people between the ages of 11-22 (Secondary School to University), but I am more than happy to work with people of all ages.

Perfect! He is a very patient teacher :) He tries to do his best. I definitely recommend him.
Perfect! My son didn’t like all his previous tutors in a way that he was not interested with their tutoring. However, he really values and appreciates Ethan’s teaching and guidance. Ethan is very reliable, punctual and has good communication skills.

Ethan was an amazing help when it came to mine and some of my friends university essays. He’s an expert on spelling and grammar, and took the time to spend a couple hours with us, both on calls and using softwares feedback and review systems, to make sure not only that our work was to a higher quality but also that we understood how we could continue improving our work into the future.
