About Emily
I am currently studying science at UBC with hopes to major in microbiology. I graduated from the IB program in 2019 with HLs in biology, chemistry, and English and an A average. I have previous tutoring experience in English and math and feel comfortable teaching early years biology, chemistry, and physics.

I like to approach a subject based on my student's needs, determining where their strengths and weaknesses lie and working based on that. Furthermore, I try to make lesson plans organized, concise, and engaging, actually talking with students and getting a sense of what level they're at, rather than just coming up with a strict lesson plan for each session with no input from the student.
